Aloe Vera Beauty Regimens used by Ancient Queens

Aloe vera beauty regimens are also used by queen Cleopatra and Nefertiti. People are intrigued and enamored by beauty and youth. Both men though mostly women spend a lot of effort, time, and money finding ways to look young and beautiful.

While both ancient Queen Cleopatra and Queen Nefertiti used aloe vera in their beauty regimens, Asian Queens loved using ingredients like snow mushrooms as their beauty regimen, which we still use to this day by select brands. Back in the day, I remember when I was little my siblings even use honey and lemon on their skin as a face mask for brightening and suppleness. Coconut oil and olive oil are also beauty favorites.

Aloe vera is naturally good for hydration

Being in the beauty industry for over 20 years I see more of the need to educate young people to take good care of their skin. They should not wait till they see signs of premature aging.

However, I’m not impartial to my women in their ‘hot years’ 🙂 now that I am one. I will be very glad to share some tips and tricks on aloe vera products for both age groups in order for us to thrive and be happy.

I’ve always leaned toward more natural ingredients, and we are seeing more and more of that in the industry as well. Basically, it’s going back to basics. Though some brands marry scientific technology in order to use the products for a longer period of time.

For those who are in their twenties, focus more on cleaning your skin properly and exfoliating your skin. You need to also start using sunscreen to avoid sun damage as you age. I recommend that you use toners that are hydrating and balancing at the same time. This will add more cleansing and more importantly a lot of moisturization to your skin. Guess what? I use toners as moisturizers on their own especially those with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid in them.

Aloe vera is good for hydration and inflammation which leads me to talk about beauty regimens for the hot years.

Are you prepared to go through your Hot years?

For women who are in their perimenopausal or menopausal years, we become like the seven dwarves namely,  Itchy, Bitchy, Sweaty, Sleepy, Bloated, Forgetful, and Psycho. Hey, this is not our fault! We have got to be more focused on what we eat i.e anti-inflammatory foods. These foods include a lot of fruits, vegetables, grains, and fiber. We can manage this and go through this gracefully 🙂

Apparently, these different personalities and situations that we experience are all linked to hormonal changes. Whatever we feel at the moment affects our decision-making. Therefore, the least we need to know is what we need to do in order to manage properly these changes.

I find exercise really helps in changing my mood swings and eating foods rich in Omega3, Calcium, Vitamin D, Magnesium, and Vitamin K. I get them from foods like salmon, sardines, broccoli, and spinach. Adlai is a very healthy nutritious alternative to rice with a three times lower glycemic index and high iron content. I never miss to also take my aloe vera gel every day to help my gut health which is really part of my beauty regimen.

The Aloe vera beauty regimen starts in the gut.
